Turn on two-factor authentication in Discord (staff)
If your server requires it, turn on 2FA on your Discord account, then sign in to the site again: access to the MDT and the admin area comes back at once.

In short. Your server can require its team to protect their Discord account with two-factor authentication (2FA). Agora asks you for no code: it reads what Discord says about your account when you sign in.
Who is affected #
Staff members (administrators, moderators, and any group that received a right), for administration, moderation, the console and the MDT. The forum stays open to everyone.
Turn on 2FA in Discord #
- In Discord: User Settings → My Account.
- Click Enable Two-Factor Auth.
- Scan the code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Bitwarden…).
- Keep the backup codes somewhere other than your phone.
Sign in to the site again #
- On the site, Sign out (the exit icon to the right of your name, at the top).
- Sign in with Discord.
Access comes back right away.
Screens you may see #
| Screen | What to do |
|---|---|
| Your Discord account has no two-factor authentication | Turn it on in Discord, then sign in again |
| Check still needed | Sign out then sign in again: Discord only tells at sign-in |
| Check unavailable | Reload the page in a moment |
| Not from the in-game tablet | Administration happens in your browser, not in the tablet |
Just promoted to staff? Sign in again once with Discord.
