Discord sign-in fails (redirect_uri, no Administration)
redirect_uri mismatch comes from a callback URL that does not match character for character; no Administration entry, from a sign-in made outside getting started.

In short. Two problems come up often: Discord refuses the sign-in (redirect_uri mismatch), or you sign in but without the Administration entry.
"redirect_uri mismatch" #
The callback URL declared in your Discord application does not match exactly the address you open the site with.
- Discord developer portal → your application → OAuth2 → Redirects. Shortcut:
https://discord.com/developers/applications/ID/oauth2, whereIDis your application's Client ID (the one in Administration → Configuration → Discord connection, block Discord login (OAuth)); Discord asks you to sign in. - The URL must be exactly
SITE-ADDRESS/api/auth/callback/discord, with:- the same protocol (
httporhttps); - the same host (with or without
www., but the same); - the same port.
- the same protocol (
- Save Changes, then try again.
Discord accepts http:// and IP addresses: http://203.0.113.10:3000/api/auth/callback/discord is valid. However, for Discord, localhost and 127.0.0.1 are two different hosts.
If you set SITE_URL or AUTH_URL, it must carry this same address. Changed domain? Add the new URL in Discord.
I am signed in, but without "Administration" #
You signed in outside the getting-started screen: a normal sign-in only gives the default role.
- No administrator exists yet: open
/mise-en-routeand follow the three steps (see First start). - An administrator exists: they must give you the
adminrole in Administration → Members.
Sign-in fails with no clear message #
- Check the Client Secret in Administration → Configuration → Discord connection: it may have been regenerated on Discord.
- A secret shown as "unreadable (secret changed) — re-enter it" means Agora's session secret changed: type it again.
One account = one Discord account #
An account has only one Discord account: Agora never attaches a second Discord account to an existing account. Three cases:
- On agorapanel.com: the message "You are already signed in with another Discord account." asks you to sign out, then sign in again with the Discord account you want. A site account stays linked to a single Discord account; to change it, open a ticket.
- On your Hub, with a Discord account different from the one on the account: sign-in is refused. Sign out, then sign in again with your usual Discord account.
- From the in-game tablet: the You are signed in from the game screen explains that this session cannot link to Discord or do the site-only actions. Click Sign me out, then sign in with Discord, or Stay signed in and go back home.
On agorapanel.com: "This email address already belongs to an account linked to a different Discord" #
You signed in with a second Discord account whose address (verified at Discord) is already held by a site account linked to another Discord. The site never merges two accounts: sign in with the Discord account you have used so far. If it is lost, open a ticket.
An account anonymised at its owner's request can no longer sign in: write to support if you want a fresh start. And if the site tells you your session has expired, click Sign in again: see The email verification code.
Suspended account #
A suspended member can sign in to read the reason, but cannot post. The banner says until when.
