In short. Your subscription is managed in My account → My purchases. You can stop future payments at any time, without losing the period already paid.

Stop renewal #

  1. My account → My purchases.
  2. On your subscription, click Disable renewal, then confirm.

No future charge. The license stays active until the end date, then 14 days of grace; the forum always stays open.

You can also use Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe portal: card, invoices, address and tax number, and cancellation at the end of the period (no proration). The portal does not offer changing plan: to go from Basic to Pro, use Change tier.

Email verification. These actions (renewal, billing portal) are sensitive: the site first sends a 6-digit code, valid for 10 minutes, to your confirmed address (My account → Emails). If you turned on an authenticator app (My account → Security), that one is asked instead.

Turn it back on #

Re-enable renewal on the same purchase, as long as the period is not over.

Extend with a one-time payment #

The Extend button adds 1 month or 1 year to the same license, by card. Same key, nothing to change in your Agora.

A one-time payment cannot be added to an active subscription on the same license: the prepaid time would be lost at the next renewal. Disable renewal first.

What "My purchases" shows #

For each purchase: the plan, the payment provider, the status (Active, Grace period, Expired, Payment overdue, Cancelled, Refunded…), the period, the discount applied, and the next renewal date. For a $0 payment (a month offered through referral, a 100% promo code), no refund window is announced: nothing was charged. When a purchase is refunded, its invoices still open at Stripe are voided: see Request a refund.

Change your card #

For Stripe: Manage subscription opens the Stripe portal, where you change your card.

Overdue payment #

If a charge fails, the purchase turns Payment overdue. Click Manage subscription and update your payment method in the Stripe portal: the renewal goes through again. Your license stays active meanwhile and is never cut off abruptly: see Suspended or expired license.

Too many actions at once #

The billing actions in your account (portal, turning renewal off or on, refund, tier change) are limited to 20 per 10 minutes per account. Beyond that, the site answers "Too many billing actions in a short time": wait a few minutes, then try again.
