Change tier (trial, Basic, Pro)

In short. Going from trial to paid takes one purchase, without touching your installation. Going from Basic to Pro (or back) on an already paid license is done from your space: same key, nothing to reinstall.

From the free trial to paid #

1. In your Agora, Administration → Agora, License block: Go paid, or go straight to the Pricing page of agorapanel.com.
2. Buy Basic or Pro, with the same Discord account as your trial key.

If you buy during the trial or up to 7 days after, your first month is 50% off (monthly subscription).

Your purchase creates a paid license with its own key. Paste it into Administration → Agora (License key, then Activate): your installation, members and data do not move. Also replace the trial key in your environment variable if it is there. See Activate a key.

From the extended trial (30 days of Pro) to paid #

Same idea: you keep the same key, and 50% off your first month if you go paid within 7 days after the trial ends.

Between Basic and Pro, on a paid license #

1. My account → your license → Plan and billing card.
2. Switch to Pro (or Switch to Basic): the exact amount is shown before you confirm.
3. Confirm and pay (a downgrade is only scheduled: nothing to pay now). Confirming charges your saved card right away, and canceling a change touches your subscription: the site therefore first asks for the email verification; if it has lapsed, it shows "click again" once the code is entered.

The quote also states the price of the following renewals ("then X / month"): it is the price actually charged. If your license has the permanent −50% discount (2nd instance), the price shown is already discounted, not the list price.

From the Pricing page. If you already own a Basic license and pick Pro, we first offer Upgrade my licence to Pro (same key, same server, prorated). With several Basic licenses, pick which one. Buy a 2nd licence stays next to it: a new license, with its own key, for another server.

No change is possible during a trial, a dispute, an unpaid invoice, or if a change is already scheduled (a downgrade, for instance): the screen tells you why. Only one change can be open at a time per license. A dated one-time payment (1 month, 1 year) has no subscription to change: it simply ends.

From lifetime Basic to lifetime Pro #

A lifetime Basic license becomes lifetime Pro in a single payment: the difference between the lifetime Pro price and the lifetime Basic price, in the currency of your original purchase. Same key. The tier only changes after the payment.

• The Stripe payment page stays valid for one hour. If it expires without payment, the change is closed right away (cause "the payment did not go through"), you are told, and you can start again, instead of waiting 24 hours for a "pending" change.
• A lifetime license has no downgrade and no billing-interval change.

A change made somewhere other than the site #

The Stripe portal behind Manage subscription does not allow changing plan (see Subscription and renewal): the change is made here, in My account. If a tier change is nevertheless made elsewhere (for example edited by hand in the Stripe dashboard), the new tier is only granted verified: if a site change is open toward that tier, if it is a downgrade, or if the latest invoice is paid. Otherwise the tier waits for the invoice to be paid, and the team is warned.

If the upgrade is refunded #

An upgrade that is refunded (or lost in a dispute) brings the license back to the previous tier, with the expiry already paid: see Request a refund. For a lifetime difference, it is your lifetime Basic license that remains.

If your original purchase is refunded during a change #

When it is the original purchase that is refunded while a change is still open, Agora closes what was still payable at Stripe:

• the subscription's open invoices are voided (for example the invoice of an upgrade waiting for 3-D Secure validation);
• the payment page for the lifetime difference is expired, and the change is closed; you are told, with the cause "your original purchase was refunded".

So you cannot pay by mistake a difference for a license that no longer exists. If the difference is paid at the same moment anyway, the tier is not applied and that payment is refunded to you. A Tebex cart, however, cannot be closed remotely.
